"Can't you look at me, Annie?" It grated on him that it bothered him so much. He smiled grimly. He could wait, he had plenty of time.
The sun suddenly shot out from behind a cloud. Annie turned to shield her eyes from the glare. The light, bright and unforgiving, shockingly outlined the scars marring the entire right side of her face.
